The iconic La Posada Hotel will be our host hotel for the 2024 Laredo Birding Festival.
Every year, we reserve a block of rooms at this historic downtown Laredo jewel, which offers the Festival a deeply discounted rate of $109 plus tax (per night/per room).
Guests will have access to free Wi-Fi and free self-parking. The hotel also provides complementary shuttle service to the Laredo International Airport. RVs can be accommodated with advanced notice.
For over 50 years, people have fallen in love with our legendary boutique hotel in the historic business district of Laredo. Built around four historic buildings, the hotel recently completed a $17 million renovation that has put La Posada on the map as Laredo's premiere hotel.
La Posada Hotel continues to reflect its Spanish heritage and to maintain strong ties to the history and traditions of Texas and Mexico.
La Posada also features two award-winning restaurants, Zaragoza Grill and The Tack Room, along with one of the hottest young chefs in the Texas culinary scene. At La Posada, our personal touch is what sets us apart. Everyone on our staff is committed to making your stay an exceptional one.
As Laredo's finest, we are always the hotel of choice for any visiting celebrity or political figure. Here you can find yourself rubbing elbows with guests that have included the Dalai Lama or possibly sitting next to a former U.S. president.
The hotel boasts contemporary Spanish public spaces, and our room selections are extraordinary. Choose from Riverview rooms or rooms that open out onto one of our lush courtyards. Suites are designed to delight you with their spacious accommodations from our Junior and Executive Suites, to the Vice Presidential and Presidential Suites.
Maybe it's the variety of stores. Maybe it's the array of authentic Mexican and South American handicrafts. Or perhaps all the historical attractions around our hotel. But whatever the reason, Laredo is a Mecca for shoppers.
Nearby points of interest include: the historic Plaza San Agustin and San Agustin Cathedral; the Outlet Shoppes at Laredo within walking distance; shops for excellent Mexican home furnishings; the Laredo Center for the Arts; and the Republic of the Rio Grande Museum.
Once you're here you'll never want to leave!
